New Timetag.it Release !
We have been working quite a bit on TimeTag.it in the last couple of weeks.
We received interesting feedback and ideas from our users and tried to address their issues as much as possible, here’s a list of some noteworthy new features.
1. External user support
You can now create dedicated accounts in your domain for “external” users. These users are able to create entries in Google Calendar which will be synchronized to your TimeTag.it domain. However, they won’t be able to access your domain in the TimeTag.it application, so your data stays private. A student on an internship or an external contractor are some examples where this feature can be useful.

2. Improved search functionality
We implemented auto-complete on the search field in TimeTag.it, which improves the search and navigation experience significantly. It works on the project name as well as on its unique timetag(s).
3. Activity Dictionary
All activities defined in your domain are automatically added to a dictionary. By again making use of an auto-suggest dropdown list, it will help the reuse and alignment of activity tags across projects.
As a result, this should help make the reports by activity a lot more valuable.
4. New configuration options
There are some new configuration options on the project settings page (requested by some of our users). You can now:
- choose which days of the week you want to ignore during synchronization (before, it was the weekend or nothing)
- configure the hours/day cap (defaults to 8h/day), full-day events created in Google Calendar will be limited to this value (non full-day events longer than this cap will be imported unchanged)

5. New homepage design & blog
This pretty much speaks for itself I guess, check it out and let us know what you think !
If you like our tool, you can write a short review in the Google Apps Marketplace, we’d be very grateful ;-)
